The RKI M-Series Low Cost Transmitter is designed for the detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in various environments, including water and wastewater treatment plants, manufacturing facilities, and parking garages. It operates on a 24 VDC power supply and provides a 4-20 mA output signal compatible with a range of controllers. The transmitter features a compact, water and dust resistant plastic housing, making it suitable for indoor and semi-enclosed areas. The M-Series utilizes long-life electrochemical sensors, with a typical lifespan of 2 to 3 years. Calibration is straightforward, requiring only a screwdriver and a voltmeter for adjustments. The device has a response time of 30 seconds for CO and 45 seconds for H2S, with measuring ranges of 0-300 ppm for CO and 0-100 ppm for H2S. The operating temperature range is from 0 to 120¬8F, and it can function in humidity levels up to 99% RH, non-condensing. The product comes with a one-year warranty on both electronics and sensors.
