Silicon Labs Clock/Timing - Application Specific SI5338M-B04828-GM

The SI5338M-B04828-GM is a quad clock generator that utilizes I2C programming for flexible frequency synthesis. It features low power MultiSynth,Ñ¢ technology, allowing for independent clock generation on four differential output drivers with a low phase jitter of 0.7 ps RMS typical. The device supports a wide range of input frequencies from various sources, including external crystals and differential inputs, with output formats configurable for LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL, CMOS, and SSTL/HSTL. Each output can operate at different voltage levels (1.5, 1.8, 2.5, or 3.3 V) and can be independently adjusted for frequency and phase, enabling glitchless frequency adjustments in 1 ppm steps. The device is housed in a compact 4x4mm QFN package and operates over a temperature range of -40 to +85 ¬8C, making it suitable for various applications including PCIe clocking, Ethernet switches, and telecom line cards.
