The Si53301 is a 1:6 low jitter universal clock buffer and level translator designed for high-speed clock distribution applications. It features six differential or twelve LVCMOS outputs with an ultra-low additive jitter of 45 fs rms and operates over a wide frequency range from 1 to 725 MHz. The device supports various output formats, including LVPECL, low power LVPECL, LVDS, CML, HCSL, and LVCMOS, with pin-selectable options. The Si53301 includes a 2:1 input multiplexer with hot-swappable inputs and glitchless clock switching, making it suitable for redundant clocking applications. It offers synchronous output enable functionality and output clock division options of /1, /2, and /4. Additionally, it features loss of signal (LOS) monitors for input clock detection and independent supply pins for core and output banks, allowing for integrated level translation. This product is RoHS compliant and operates within an industrial temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, making it suitable for various applications, including Ethernet switches, optical transport networks, and telecom systems.
