The powerful blower assembly suctions up to 350 CFM of air per arm, while the two 10 long HD Extractor Arms offers exceptional reach and hold for precise fume source capture. With the total reach of 20 from side to side, this unit can easily access dual operator stations. This system features four cleanable Micro-Pleat Series 1 Particulate Filters that offer the ability to clean the filters with compressed air without removing them from the units chassis. The operator simply sprays compressed air into the filter media for cleansing while excess dust and waste fall into the internal dustpan, allowing for easy and clean debris removal. Other filter options include four HEPA non-cleanable filters, four 42 lb disposable Activated Carbon Filters, and four 42 lb Specialty Blended Filter Media (acid gas, ammonia, aldehyde, and mercury). This unit includes a Magnehelic Gauge (MP1 and HEPA filters only) to monitor the saturation of the filters. As the filters become saturated, the static pressure increases and the digital readout will display this increase in pressure. Once the pressure reaches a certain point, the filters will need to be cleaned (MP1 filters only). For easy mobility around the shop, the Model 500 Dual Arm Heavy Duty Industrial Fume Extractor features forklift legs that allow the operators to transport the system with ease if necessary. The primarily stationary unit, if desired, can be permanently bolted to the shop floor. For applications that do not require as much airflow, an included Variable Speed Controller can help to reduce and control the airflow rates.
