The DAT71275FU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage reed relay with 7.5 kV isolation between contacts, designed for applications requiring high reliability such as cardiac defibrillators and test equipment. It uses tungsten contacts for higher voltage switching and features a 12 V DC coil with operate and release voltages of 9 V and 1.25 V respectively. The relay supports PCB mounting with flying leads for high-voltage connections and maintains a contact resistance of 250 mΩ maximum (typical 100 mΩ). It offers 10¹⁰ Ω insulation resistance, a contact-to-coil isolation of 17 kV, and operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +70 °C. The physical dimensions include a 50.8 mm center-to-center mounting hole spacing with M4 clearance holes of 4.8 mm to 5.1 mm diameter.
