The GS4881-IDA is a video sync separator designed for various video applications, capable of extracting timing information from composite video signals with scan rates ranging from 15 kHz to 130 kHz. It features a noise-tolerant back porch pulse that maintains a constant horizontal rate during the vertical interval, enhancing its performance in noisy environments. The device operates with input signal amplitudes from 0.5 V to 4 V peak-to-peak and supports a supply voltage range of 5 V to 12 V. This part is pin-compatible with the LM1881 sync separator and offers improved performance, including fast recovery from impulse noise and excellent temperature stability. The GS4881-IDA generates composite sync, vertical sync, back porch, and odd/even field signals, making it suitable for applications requiring reliable video synchronization. It is available in an 8-pin PDIP package and is not lead-free.
