The 8012eS PCI Express digital interface provides eight optically isolated inputs and eight Reed relay outputs (SPST). The isolated inputs are non-polarized and rated for 3-30 VDC. Optical isolation protects the PC and other sensitive equipment from the voltage spikes and ground loop currents that are common to industrial environments. The Reed relays provide high quality, long-life, dry contact switch closures suitable for low-current applications. The relays are normally open and close when energized. The board is PCI Express X1 compliant and is compatible with any PCI Express slot.
The 8012eS is for use in standard height PCI Express slots only. Order the 8012e if you have a low profile PCI Express slot. Sealevel’s SeaIO Classic software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows operating systems.
