The 3604-DB9 high-speed PCMCIA serial interface card provides a single high-speed PCMCIA serial link to modems, terminals, printers or other data collection equipment. Designed using the XR16C850 UART, the card provides deep 128-byte FIFOs, 8 times more buffer capacity than products using 16C550 compatible devices. This allows increased throughput, greater reliability, and reduced system overhead at high speeds.
For user’s that require custom baud rates, isochronous communications, or 9-bit protocol, the 3604-DB9 high-speed PCMCIA serial interface card is available with the Oxford 16C950 UART. Call for details.
