Arc-fault protective technology introduces electronics to traditional circuit breakers to provide arc-fault identification and a means to trip the breaker, thereby disconnecting the affected circuit. In residential and aerospace arc-fault protective devices, Labinal Power Systems uses an independent thermal circuit breaker and adds supplementary Arc-Fault detection and Circuit Interruption (AFCI) electronics.
Plug-in Circuit Breakers panels address key aircraft manufacturers' concerns with a significant reduction in volume, increased functionality, and enhanced reliability by simplifying circuit breakers panel design and installation (Reduction of electrical inter connection and elimination of wiring to create a "near wireless" power distribution panel).
RCCBs (Remote Control Circuit Breakers) combine the best attributes of circuit breakers and relays. They automatically protect the wires and the load devices during circuit / load breakdown, while allowing the flight deck control of the load during normal operation.
In distributed-load applications, RCCBs are a more efficient power distribution solution promoting cost and weight savings through the elimination of long runs of heavy cables associated with the conventional relay-flight deck circuit protector method.
Labinal Power Systems' designed & manufactured RCCBs are qualified to demanding performance parameters of MIL- PRF - 83383 standard.
Labinal Power Systems produces a diverse line of performance rated "power and load management products" serving stringent applications in the aerospace markets. The company also has mechanical products that add a complete product offering of thermal breakers, from the extensive Boeing qualifications to the broad array of Mil-Spec approvals.
