RH6L040BG is an N-channel 60 V power MOSFET in an HSMT8 package, designed for switching applications such as motor drives and DC/DC converters. It has a maximum continuous drain current of ±40 A at 25°C, a drain-source on-resistance of 7.1 mΩ max at V_GS = 10 V and I_D = 40 A, and a power dissipation of 59 W. The device is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and rated for a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. It is 100% Rg and UIS tested, with a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 2.1 °C/W and junction-to-ambient of 62.5 °C/W when mounted on a 40×40×0.8 mm Cu board.
