The HP8KA1 is a dual N-channel power MOSFET in an HSOP8 package, designed for load switching and lithium-ion battery charging and discharging applications. It has a drain-source voltage rating of 30V, a continuous drain current of 14A, and a maximum on-state resistance of 5.0mΩ at 10V gate-source voltage. The device dissipates up to 3W and operates with a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. Thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 41°C/W when mounted on a 40×40×0.8mm copper board. The package is tape-reel mounted with a 330mm reel size and 12mm tape width, and the part is RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
