The SN75ALS085DW is a dual-channel driver/receiver designed for use in the AUI of ANSI/IEEE Std 802.3-1988. It operates with a balanced 78-,Ѷ load and can transmit signals over twisted-pair cables up to 50 meters in length. The device features a squelch function that ensures only valid differential signals are processed, enhancing signal integrity by preventing noise from causing false transitions during idle states. This component includes interdevice loopback paths for system testing, allowing for easy fault isolation and network diagnostics.
