The HIP2106IB is an 8-lead SOIC packaged half-bridge gate driver IC designed to drive N-channel MOSFETs in high-frequency applications up to 500kHz. It operates with a supply voltage range of 9V to 16.5V and features independent control of high- and low-side outputs with 8ns matching. The device includes an on-chip 1Ω bootstrap diode supporting bootstrap supply voltages up to 116VDC, undervoltage protection on both supplies, and CMOS input thresholds for noise immunity. Propagation delays are typically 70ns with rise and fall times of 20ns into a 1000pF load. It meets thermal specifications for operation from -40°C to 85°C and is rated for 10V/ns slew rate on the high-side source.
