The ISL6627 is a high-frequency MOSFET driver designed to control upper and lower N-Channel MOSFETs in a synchronous rectified buck converter for advanced microprocessor core voltage regulation. It is packaged in a 10-lead 3x3 mm DFN with an exposed thermal pad for enhanced heat sinking. The device operates from a 5V ±10% supply, supports switching frequencies up to 1 MHz, and features adaptive shoot-through protection, programmable dead time, and integrated diode emulation for improved light-load efficiency. It is compatible with Intersil VR11.1 and VR12 controllers, includes a 36V internal bootstrap diode, and incorporates under-voltage protection. The ISL6627CRZ variant operates from 0°C to +70°C and is RoHS compliant.
