The HIP1011DCA-T is a dual slot PCI hot plug controller designed for independent power control of two PCI slots. It features adjustable turn-off delay time, internal MOSFET switches for +12V and -12V outputs, and a microprocessor interface for on/off control and fault reporting. The device includes adjustable overcurrent protection for all eight supplies and provides fault isolation, ensuring that issues in one slot do not affect the other. The controller has a 100ns response time to overcurrent conditions and is available in a 28-lead SSOP package. It is RoHS compliant and does not require a charge pump, making it a compact solution for PCI hot-plug applications. The HIP1011DCA-T is not recommended for new designs, and there is no recommended replacement.
