Unico’s Smart Web AOC Shear Drive can be used alone or as part of a multidrive corrugator dry-end system. The drive controls the shear during the automatic-order change (AOC) sequence and scrap chop-out. The drive uses the same control algorithm as the Unico rotary cut-off knife drives and is superior to typical drive packages. The key features of our web AOC shear control system are chop-out after line stop, chop-out wet-end scrap, scrap reject gate control, scrap jam prevention, automatic reference, and many others.
