The IRIS M + Laser Tach is a hardware add-on to the Iris M motion amplification system that integrates a laser tachometer for non-contact RPM measurement, with an optical range of 5 to 200,000 RPM and accuracy of ±0.01% of reading, and a contact accuracy of ±0.05% of reading. It supports camera sync from 5 to 7,500 RPM at full frame, with resolution from 0.001 to 10 RPM depending on range, and includes a totalizer from 1 to 999,990. The system is powered by two AA 1.5 VDC batteries providing 30 hours of operation and operates within a distance range of 2 inches to 25 feet at ±70°. The unit records maximum, minimum, and last readings.
