Our 0501 series features the standard, domestic, 3-prong, North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with a 2-splitter (Y-Cord) that has the IEC-60320-C13 Connector and the IEC-60320-C5 Connector. These multi-leg North American power cords are recommended for powering networking or computing equipment. The IEC-60320-C13 connector can power monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, and sound systems, and any device or appliance that includes the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The IEC-60320-C5 Connector is ideal for grounded (3-conductor) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, electric razors, and many more devices which use the IEC-60320-C6 inlet. The plug end connects to any standard NEMA wall outlet or 5-15R receptacle, and these are considered space-savers because they provide power to 2 devices while only using 1 outlet. Finally, the C5 is also referred to as the Mickey-Mouse connector. The 0501.072 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
