Description
The 0280 series power cords feature the standard Hospital Grade, Green Dot, NEMA 5-15P Clear (transparent) plug with a Ferrite and the IEC-60320-C13 Clear (transparent) connector with a Ferrite.
These power cords receive special approval from UL which is based on high quality construction and peak performance. The Green Dot marking on the face of the plug indicates the cord has been tested and is ready for use in a hospital environment.
These Hospital Grade power cords are the recommended cords for any medical equipment, (from x-ray machines, to life support equipment, to hospital use).
Ferrite beads are low-pass EMI/RFI filters formed by drawing the copper leads through an iron cylinder. The low level of magnetism exerted by the ferrite component removes impedance caused by high frequency noise from the flow of electricity.
Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any EMI created by the power cord itself.
Our 0280 series power cords carry North American approvals (UL, C-UL), and are rated at 15A ?? 125V.
