Our 0225 series features the IEC-60320-C14 Screw-on Inlet with a 2-splitter (Y-Cord) that has the IEC-60320-C13 Connector and the IEC-60320-C7 Connector. These multi-leg IEC power cords are the recommended cords used to power any grounded device using the IEC-60320-C14 inlet in addition to an un-grounded device using the IEC-60320-C8 inlet. Applications which use the IEC-60320-C8 inlet include (un-grounded) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, electric razors, and many other devices and appliances. Applications which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet are monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, as well as many other components and electronics. On the male end these cords plug into any C13 outlet or connector, and these cords are considered space-savers because they only use up 1 socket while providing power to 2 devices. The IEC-60320-C7 is also referred to as the Figure-8 connector. This series of power cords is available in varied lengths, allowing you to clear space for airflow, maintain an unobstructed exhaust port, and increase the life and operational capacity of your equipment.
