Our 0146 series features a Blunt Cut with the IEC-60320-C19 Connector. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These IEC power cords are recommended for PDUs, servers, and UPSs. The supply end hard-wires directly into your device, while the female end connects to any device or appliance that has an IEC-60320-C20 inlet. Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any electromagnetic field created by the power cord itself. A Blunt Cut means that one end of the power cord has been removed and the cable has been cut to length. This configuration is ideal for customers who wish to create their own custom termination. The 0146.096S carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 16A - 250V.
