Uni-Wash Wet Booth Dust Collectors are a self-contained, economical means of removing wet-able and sinkable airborne contaminants from most hand-held industrial processes and containing them within a booth environment and away from other plant processes. Metal grinding, de-burring, sanding, and bagging operations benefit from surface capture through the patented five stage water-wash process. The process pulls contaminants away from the worker toward the booth wall. Substantial blower configurations rapidly force contaminants against a series of vertical and horizontal water walls and baths. The cleaned air is then dried by forceful impingement against a series of moisture separators. No nozzles, pumps or piping is required. Uni-Wash Wet Booths are available in a wide variety of volumes and bench sizes. These units ship complete with an integral AMCA rated backward curved fan assembly that is dynamically balanced at the factory prior to shipment, assuring vibration free operation. Units also feature direct-drive motors, stainless steel scrubber components, pre-wired and mounted motor controls, and rugged fiberglass grated booth entry slots. Water level control is through the use of a unique float-type mechanical control system. Internally, each system features a two-part rust protective epoxy finish. The external 12 gauge housing is primed and finished with industrial enamel and comes complete with all fresh water and drain piping connections for immediate plant installation. A variety of optional features are available for unit customization.
