ProSoft Technology, Inc. A-B Remote I/O Adapter To Profibus DP 5604-RIO-PDPM

The ProLinx family A-B Remote I/O Adapter to PROFIBUS DP Master communications module (5604-RIO-PDPM) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Remote I/O network and a PROFIBUS slave device. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one Remote I/O port and PROFIBUS DP Master configurable DB9F port. The RIO interface is an adapter (slave) which can be connected to a scanner (master) that controls the data transfer. The module also supports limited high speed data transfer via the Input and Output images. The PROFIBUS DP Master (PDPM) protocol driver supports Master implementations of the protocol on either a Mono-Master or Multi-Master network.
