The ProLinx family Modbus TCP/IP to Honeywell DE Master communications module (5206-MNET-DEM) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Modbus TCP/IP network and Honeywell DE slave devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one Ethernet port and eight Honeywell DE Master configurable channels. The DEM protocol driver is designed to provide a tightly integrated communications interface between other protocols of the ProLinx platform and the Honeywell DE instruments. Compatible DE devices include a large array of field devices including pressure, temperature, metering, and many other instruments. The Modbus TCP/IP (MNET) driver can be used to interface many different protocols into the Schneider Electric Quantum family of processors as well other software solutions supporting the protocol. The MNET driver supports Client connections as well as Server connections.
