The ProLinx family Modbus TCP/IP to IEC60870-5-104 Server communications module (5201-MNET-104S) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Modbus TCP/IP network and IEC 104 master devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one Ethernet port. The 104S module accepts commands from an attached master unit on the network and generates unsolicited messages. The Modbus TCP/IP (MNET) driver can be used to interface many different protocols into the Schneider Electric Quantum family of processors as well other software solutions supporting the protocol. The MNET driver supports Client connections as well as Server connections.
