The PS-24-MC2 is an enclosed constant current power supply designed for Placid Industries magnetic particle brakes and clutches, providing 0-24 volts DC at 0.75 amps and 22 watts. It features a 3/4 turn potentiometer for manual current control, a 0-10 volt input for external control, and adjustable minimum and maximum current limits via 15-turn potentiometers. The unit accepts 220 volts AC input with a single 1-ampere fuse, includes an LED power indicator, and has a digital ammeter on the front panel. Terminal blocks provide connections for DC output, ground, 0-10 volt input, follower potentiometer, and AC power. Dimensions are 8 inches in length and 6-5/8 inches in width. Control mode is selectable via a switch on the underside of the case.
For DC brakes and clutches requiring up to 0.75 amperes at 24 volts, or 1.25 amps at 12 volts. Plug in, connect the brake or clutch, and you're ready to go with some simple adjustments.
