Piezosystem Jena, Inc. Digital d-Drive Piezo Amplifer EVD Series

Description
Series EVD - digital amplifier modules for piezoelectric actuators The EVD series is full of digital amplifiers which are designed for low voltage piezoelectric actuators. These amplifiers are manufactured in the 19" rack mount technology. Permanent output currents are 50 mA, 125 mA, and 300 mA for the EVD 50, EVD 125, and EVD 300 respectively. Actuators with a high electrical capacitance can be driven very fast and with a short rise time. The closed loop version of these amplifiers with ASI-function (Automatic Sensor Identification) can be used in combination with strain gauge or capacitive feedback sensors without additional modification. The DSP (digital signal processor) works with 64 MHz. The sampling rate is only 20 µsec. The effective resolution is 20 bit. This, and the major advantage of the free interchangability of all calibrated digital actuators, make the EVD series amplifiers suitable for use in high accuracy positioning applications in the semiconductor industry, biological research, fiber alignment, metrology, and many other applications.

Series EVD - digital amplifier modules for piezoelectric actuators

The EVD series is full of digital amplifiers which are designed for low voltage piezoelectric actuators.
