The Pickering Series 109 109-2-A-12/2D is a double pole single throw (DPST-NO) reed relay with a 12 V coil, designed for through-hole mounting in high-density instrumentation applications. It features a sputtered ruthenium switch rated for 10 W at 200 V, with a maximum switching current of 0.5 A and a coil resistance of 750 Ω. The relay includes mu-metal magnetic screening for a typical magnetic interaction of 1%, operates within a -20 °C to +85 °C temperature range, and has an insulation resistance greater than 10¹² Ω. Its contact capacitance is 0.1 pF across the open switch and 2.5 pF across the closed switch. Internal back EMF clamping diodes are optional.
