The Pickering Series 105 is a range of single-in-line reed relays with an internal mu-metal magnetic screen for high packing density and no magnetic interference. The 105-1-A-5/4D is a single pole, Form A (energize to make) dry reed relay with a 5 V coil, high voltage switch contact, and an internal diode. It supports up to 0.5 A switching at 10 W, with an insulation resistance of at least 10¹² Ω and a switch capacitance of 0.15 pF across the open contacts. The relay is encapsulated in a plastic package and has a standard SIL footprint. Dimensions are 19.1 mm long, 7.9 mm wide, and 3.3 mm high. Operation time is 0.75 ms max, with a release time of 0.5 ms.
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
