These fasteners are installed simultaneously with other surface mount components during the automated reflow solder process, integrating seamlessly into the assembly line. The fasteners feature a hex-shaped barrel that provides a larger solder area, enhancing the reliability of the connection. They are supplied on tape and reel, which facilitates automated handling and reduces the need for manual intervention. The minimum sheet thickness for installation is 0.5 mm (0.020 inches), and they are compliant with RoHS standards. The smallest thread size available is M1 (#0-80), making them suitable for applications requiring compact and lightweight fastening solutions.
