The MCEMAX,Ѣ 5 kV Electric Motor Analyzer from PdMA Corporation is designed for troubleshooting and evaluating de-energized electric motors. It features a fully functional laptop computer equipped with MCEGold software, which provides access to comprehensive test history and acceptance criteria from IEEE and NEMA. The analyzer supports dynamic and static testing for various motor types, including AC Induction, Synchronous, and DC motors, with a variable test voltage range from 250 to 5000V. This portable, battery-powered device can measure insulation resistance up to 3 T,Ѷ, capacitance, and inductance, and offers six-channel simultaneous data acquisition. It includes automatic tests such as Insulation Resistance (IR), Polarization Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), and Step Voltage Tests. The MCEMAX,Ѣ also assesses power quality and alerts users to any distortion or harmonic content exceeding IEEE limits. Constructed from ultra-high impact ABS material, the MCEMAX,Ѣ is designed for ruggedness and ease of transport, making it suitable for testing motors in hard-to-reach locations. Its capabilities include torque and efficiency analysis, power and current signature tests, and detailed evaluations of various fault zones, ensuring a comprehensive health assessment of electric motors.
MCEMAX™ powered by MCEGold® integrates testing, diagnostics, inventory control, scheduling, and cost containment. The comprehensive tester monitors all potential fault zones and allows for immediate notification of alarming conditions. The unique static and dynamic operation enables MCEMAX™ to be utilized on all applications and motors regardless of size, type, or condition. This tester combines the accuracy of motor circuit analysis with the convenience of motor power analysis. The MCEMAX™ is a complete motor/asset management tool for present motor management needs.
