Steel Liquid Level Gages can be used to view liquid levels in hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, large steel mill pumps, gearboxes, bearing housings, crankcases, transformers and machinery oil reservoirs. Their use can be extended to many industrial liquid level viewing applications. This gage is specially configured.
This plated steel liquid level gage has a 1/4” male NPT mounting thread. The top cap features a 1/8” female NPT that can be used to vent the gage back into the tank or elsewhere. The gage is suitable for use with pressure. It features a 1/2” diameter glass sight that retains its clarity through various temperature changes. The glass sight is protected by steel on three sides. A red line on a white background enhances liquid level visibility. Easy-to-read “Low” and “High” level markings on the glass provide additional visual cues. Leak-tight construction is achieved with Buna-N seals. The unit tolerates temperatures up to 225° F.
