Pressure Compensated Adjustable Constant Flow Control Valves with Sight Chambers feature an adjustable flow rate that stays constant through changes in pressure. There is a large vented sight chamber to view the liquid stream.
Mechanisms within the valve utilize fewer fluid openings when pressure elevates and more fluid openings when pressure lowers, allowing the flow rate to be maintained with varying pressures. It operates with pressures from 15 PSI to 125 PSI with oil viscosities between 400 SSU and 750 SSU. It tolerates temperatures up to 225° F.
This valve has a flow rate adjustable from 3 oz per minute to 1 GPM, and is accurate within plus or minus 10% . The flow rate is adjusted with the T-handle (a tamperproof version is also available).
This unit has an aluminum alloy body, brass stem, and plated steel parts. Buna-N seals are used. The valve has a 1/4" female NPT inlet and 3/8” male NPT outlet. The total length of the valve is 6 5/8” and overall width is 2 13/16”.
