The S822 is a double-pole, double-throw toggle switch with screw terminals, rated for 30A at 125V AC, 30A at 250V AC, 30A at 30V DC, and 1A at 125V AC with a power factor of 0.6. It has a mechanical life of 50,000 operations and an electrical life of 25,000 operations. The switch features a brass toggle with chrome plating, a phenolic resin case, and a maximum mounting torque of 2.94 Nm. The panel cutout requires a maximum thickness of 0.177″ (4.5 mm). UL and CSA recognition require adding "/U" or "/C" to the part number. The terminal configuration connects 2-3 and 5-6 when ON and 2-1 and 5-4 when ON in the opposite position. The keyway is M4.5×6.
