The A Series is a family of sealed subminiature rocker switches designed for low-voltage, low-current logic-level circuits. The switches feature a 2.54mm x 2.54mm terminal spacing, a 26° angle of throw, and nonshorting contact timing. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum, with 500 megohms minimum insulation resistance and 500V AC dielectric strength. Mechanical life is 100,000 operations for On-None-On and On-Off-On circuits. The actuator is nickel-plated brass, the housing is glass fiber-reinforced polyamide, and contacts are phosphor bronze with gold plating. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The switches support wave and manual soldering and are compatible with automated cleaning. Vertical and right-angle terminal variants require that PCB extension beyond the switch housing does not exceed 1.3mm to ensure full rocker movement. The A12KV-CC variant uses a vertical PC terminal configuration with a snap-top actuator.
