The 20LP-UV Precision Linear Polarizers is constructed by laminating a polymer polarizing film between two high-precision fused silica windows. Each window has a high-efficiency 310 to 400 nm broadband UV antireflection coating. The assembly is mounted in a 2 inch (50.8 mm) diameter black anodized aluminum housing for protection and provides a 30.5 mm clear aperture. The transmission axis is clearly marked. The result is a linear polarizer with high transmission and low wavefront distortion that are easy to mount. Ultraviolet Polarizer Our ultraviolet polarizers are recommended for 310-400 nm wavelength applications, and use a UV Fused Silica substrate. Black Anodized Aluminum Housings The polarizer assembly is mounted in a black anodized aluminum housing for protection, with the transmission axis clearly marked. The result is linear polarizers with high transmission and low wavefront distortion. The standard outer diameters are convenient for mounting into Newport rotary mounts.
