The MP2690GR-P is a highly integrated switch-mode battery charger designed for single-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries, suitable for various applications including power banks and portable devices. It supports an input voltage range of 4.65V to 14V and can deliver a programmable charge current of up to 2.5A. The device features a boost mode that allows it to power the system from the battery when the input source is unavailable, with a programmable output current limit of up to 2.1A in this mode. Key functionalities include a trickle-charge feature, selectable charge voltages of 4.2V, 4.35V, or 4.45V with high accuracy, and integrated protections such as over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection. The MP2690GR-P also includes a 4-LED driver for battery fuel gauge indication and supports automatic turn-off at light loads. It is packaged in a compact 26-pin QFN (4mm x 4mm) format, making it suitable for space-constrained designs.
