The EQY-8-24+ is an absorptive gain equalizer designed for RF applications, featuring a frequency range from DC to 20 GHz. It has a nominal attenuation slope of 8.3 dB and is housed in a compact 2 x 2 mm, 8-lead MCLP package. This product is suitable for various applications including fixed satellite, mobile communications, radio location, and space research. The gain equalizer utilizes a GaAs IPD MMIC process, which integrates resistors, capacitors, and inductors to achieve a negative insertion loss slope, making it effective for compensating the negative gain slope of amplifiers and receivers. It offers excellent power handling capability, rated at +34 dBm, and operates within a temperature range of -55¬8C to 105¬8C. The EQY-8-24+ is characterized by its wide bandwidth and small size, which allows for reduced board space and simplified design.
