ARMATEX¬Æ SF 32 is a silicone coated fiberglass fabric with a finished weight of 32 ounces per square yard. It features a flexible, medium weight design and is impregnated with cured silicone rubber on both sides. This product offers excellent flame and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications such as removable insulation pads, weld splatter protection, heat shields, splash curtains, and thermal insulation barriers. The fabric has a temperature rating of 1000¬8F (538¬8C) for the base fabric and 450¬8F (232¬8C) for the silicone coating, with transient exposure capabilities up to 600¬8F (315¬8C). It is available in widths of 38 inches (0.965 meters) and 60 inches (1.524 meters), with a standard roll size of 50 yards by 173 pounds (45.72 meters by 78 kilograms). ARMATEX¬Æ SF 32 can be certified to various standards including MIL-I-24244 and ASTM E84.84a, ensuring compliance for specific applications.
