The USB3280-AEZG-TR is a Hi-Speed USB Device PHY designed for integration with ASICs, SoCs, or FPGAs that utilize a UTMI Hi-Speed USB device core. It is housed in a 36-pin RoHS compliant QFN package measuring 6 x 6 x 0.90mm. This device supports data transmission rates of 480Mbps for Hi-Speed and 12Mbps for Full Speed, and operates with a single +3.3V power supply. The USB3280-AEZG-TR is USB-IF certified to the USB 2.0 electrical specification and features integrated termination resistors, which help reduce the external component count. It includes internal short circuit protection for the DP and DM lines, and an on-chip oscillator that works with a low-cost 24MHz crystal. The device also provides robust ESD protection levels of 5kV HBM and supports various USB states, including suspend and reset. With a typical unconfigured current of 55mA and a low suspend current of 83¬µA, this device is suitable for both bus-powered and battery-powered applications.
