The USB2250I-NU-06 is a USB 2.0 compliant, high-speed mass storage class peripheral controller designed for reading and writing to a variety of flash media formats, including CompactFlash, SmartMedia, xD-Picture Card, Memory Stick, Secure Digital, and MultiMediaCard. This controller supports average sustained transfer rates exceeding 35 MB/s, contingent on the capabilities of the media and host. It comes in a 128-pin VTQFP package and is RoHS compliant. The device is suitable for applications that utilize single or combo media sockets and allows for multiple simultaneous card insertions. It features a hardware-controlled data flow architecture and pipelined hardware support for efficient access to non-self-mapped media. The USB2250I-NU-06 also includes an integrated 8051 microprocessor, internal regulator for 1.8 V core operation, and customizable options for vendor-specific data. Operating within an industrial temperature range of -40¬?C to 85¬?C, this controller is optimized for low latency interrupt handling and supports Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) for external EEPROM or Flash.
