The SCH3222 is a 3.3V Super I/O Controller with an LPC interface. It includes a Keyboard Controller, Power Control logic, and Motherboard Glue logic.
4 full serial ports and two additional 4-Pin serial ports are provided. The serial ports are fully functional NS16550 compatible UARTs that support data rates up to 1.5 Mbps. System related functionality, which offers flexibility to the system designer, includes 23 General Purpose I/O (GPIO) control functions. The product is available in commercial (0°C to +70°C and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges.
