The MT9076BB1 is a single-chip transceiver designed for T1/E1/J1 telecommunications applications. It integrates a long-haul line interface unit (LIU), an advanced framer, a high-performance phase-locked loop (PLL), and three HDLC controllers. The device supports various formats in T1 mode, including D4, ESF, and SLC-96, and complies with multiple industry standards such as AT&T PUB43801 and ANSI T1.102. In E1 mode, it adheres to ITU-T recommendations and ETSI standards. The LIU can recover signals attenuated by up to 36 dB in T1/J1 mode and 40 dB in E1 mode, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. It operates at 3.3 V with 5 V tolerant inputs and features comprehensive alarm detection, performance monitoring, and error insertion capabilities.
