The MIC5400BWM is a dual 8-output LED driver integrated circuit designed for applications such as outdoor video screens and large LED displays. Each output can sink up to 30mA, making it suitable for driving clusters of LEDs, typically configured in a red, green, blue (RRGB) arrangement. The device features programmable brightness control through a serial interface, utilizing a combination of 4-bit DACs for coarse control and 10-bit PWM for fine control, allowing for precise intensity adjustments across different LED colors.
