The MIC5320-SOYMT-TR is a dual ultra low-dropout (ULDO,Ñ¢) linear voltage regulator designed for portable electronics applications. It features a compact 6-pin 1.6mm x 1.6mm Thin MLF¬Æ package, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. The regulator supports an input voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V and provides two independent outputs, each capable of delivering up to 150mA. The device exhibits an ultra-low dropout voltage of 35mV at 150mA, ensuring efficient operation in battery-powered devices. The MIC5320 is stable with small ceramic output capacitors, requiring only 1¬µF for stability, which helps minimize board space and component costs. It has a low quiescent current of 85¬µA per output and a fast turn-on time of 30¬µs. Additional protective features include thermal shutdown and current limit protection, enhancing reliability in various applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, GPS receivers, and portable media players. The operating temperature range is from -40¬8C to +125¬8C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
