The MIC2595R-2YM is a single-channel hot swap power controller designed for safe insertion and removal of circuit boards in live systems, specifically operating within a voltage range of -19V to -80V. It features a fast-responding circuit breaker that reacts to short circuit conditions in less than 1 microsecond, along with user-programmable overcurrent detection response times. This controller includes an electronic circuit breaker function that can either latch the output off or automatically retry after a fault, depending on the configuration. The MIC2595R-2YM supports active-low power-good signals for load sequencing and offers programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) hysteresis. It is suitable for applications in central office switching, -48V power distribution, and distributed power systems.
