The MIC2585-1MBTS-TR is a dual-channel hot swap controller designed for safe board insertion into live system backplanes. It operates with supply voltages ranging from 1.0V to 13.2V and can withstand surge voltages up to 20V. The device features programmable inrush current limiting, electronic circuit breaker functionality, and dual-level overcurrent fault sensing to prevent false tripping. It responds quickly to short circuit conditions in less than 1µs. This controller also includes output turn-on sequencing and tracking capabilities, making it suitable for applications requiring precise power sequencing.
