The MIC2014-0.8YM5 is a high-side power distribution switch designed for general-purpose power control and distribution applications. It features a typical on-resistance of 70mOc at 5V and supports a fixed current limit of 0.8A. The device operates within a voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and includes thermal protection to prevent damage under high current or fault conditions. Additional features include an enable pin that can be configured for active high or low operation, under-voltage lockout (UVLO) with adjustable thresholds, and automatic load discharge for capacitive loads. The MIC2014-0.8YM5 also incorporates a soft start function to mitigate inrush current and has an automatic-on output after a fault condition. This switch is suitable for applications in digital televisions, printers, set-top boxes, and other peripheral devices. It is available in a compact 5-pin SOT-23 package.
