The MCP14A0304 is a dual noninverting high-speed MOSFET driver capable of sourcing or sinking 3A peak current from a 4.5V to 18V supply. It features low shoot-through current, 17ns typical input propagation delay, 12ns rise and fall times driving 1800pF, and an active-high enable pin with integrated pull-up resistor for flexible control. The device is packaged in 8-lead MSOP, SOIC, or 2x3 TDFN styles with an exposed thermal pad on the TDFN variant. It operates over a -40°C to +125°C temperature range, withstands 500mA reverse output current, and is protected against 2kV HBM and 200V MM electrostatic discharge.
The MCP14A0303/4/5 devices are dual output high-speed MOSFET drivers that are capable of providing up to 3.0A of peak current while operating from a single 4.5V to 18V supply. There are three output configurations available: inverting (MCP14A0303), non-inverting (MCP14A0304), and complimentary (one inverting and one non-inverting output - MCP14A0305). These devices feature low shoot through current, fast rise and fall times, and short propagation delays which make them ideal for high switching frequency applications. The MCP14A0303/4/5 family of devices offer enhanced control with enable functionality. The active-high enable pin can be driven low to drive the outputs of the MCP14A0303/4/5 low, regardless of the status of the input pins. An integrated pull-up resistor allows the user to leave the enable pin floating for standard operation. These devices are highly latch-up resistant under any condition within their power and voltage ratings. They can accept up to 500 mA of reverse current being forced back into their outputs without damage or logic upset. All terminals are fully protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD) up to 2 kV (HBM) and 200V (MM).
