The LAN9500-ABZJ is a single-chip USB 2.0 to 10/100 Ethernet controller designed for various embedded applications. It features an integrated 10/100 Ethernet MAC and PHY, supporting both full-duplex and half-duplex modes, as well as HP Auto-MDIX for automatic cable detection. The device complies with the Hi-Speed Universal Serial Bus Specification Revision 2.0, supporting data rates of up to 480 Mbps and includes four endpoints for data transfer. This controller is suitable for a range of applications including embedded systems, set-top boxes, networked printers, and USB port replicators. It operates in various power modes to enhance energy efficiency, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. The LAN9500-ABZJ supports multiple filtering modes for address management and includes features such as TCP/UDP/IP/ICMP checksum offload, remote wakeup, and integrated power-on reset. The product is packaged in a 56-pin QFN format and is RoHS compliant. It operates within a commercial temperature range of 0¬8C to +70¬8C, making it suitable for standard applications. For industrial applications, the LAN9500i variant is available, which operates in a wider temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C.
